Trained Contractor Course
The programme consists of a mixture of theoretical and practical elements, with the emphasis very much on ‘hands-on’ experience. Information about the causes of timber decay will be discussed along with an overview of how to identify and assess existing damage. Following an introduction to the range of Repair Care systems, all delegates will have the opportunity to extensively use the tools and products needed to achieve a perfect repair. The course includes light refreshments and all delegates will take away full product and system information and their own sample window sections from the practical session.

The Repair Care epoxy resin system is an essential part of our restoration service. We specialise in restoring and servicing sash windows, predominantly in listed buildings. The Repair Care system allows us to make spot repairs on site where traditionally the unit may have had to be removed and taken to the work shop. This not only speeds up the job – but keeps remedial costs down for the client.

Recognition
After successful completion of the course, operatives will be issued with a certificate and personal Repair Care pass card.
Validity
The training is valid for 4 years, after which operatives are encouraged to take a Refresher course.
*Please note: Any training courses held at Dulux Decorator Centre Slough will be held at Dulux Academy. On the day of training please make your way to head office which is situated opposite the store.
Any cancelliations or changes need be advised 48hrs in advance, if you book and do not attend but have paid we will in the first instance rebook you onto another date.
